Katie Ko grew up in Hong Kong, moved to London in 2018 to complete a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from London College of Fashion, graduated BA (Hons) Fashion Design at Ravensbourne University and MA Fashion at the Royal College of Art. Her work is deeply informed by her background in fine arts as well as her classical ballet training. These disciplines have shaped both her aesthetic sensibility and creative process. Each piece Ko creates is a reflection of memory and movement, where the fluidity of dance merges with the visual richness of fine art, culminating in a distinctive fusion of fashion and personal narrative.

Ko’s Spider Chrysanthemum Dress was later exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery during the 22nd London Design Festival—an evocative exploration of fragility and resilience rendered through sculptural form.

Ko’s debut solo show during A/W25, she collaborated with Valentino Zucchetti, First Soloist of The Royal Ballet, who choreographed a performance that  breathed life and movement into the garments, transforming the collection into a living narrative. She also partnered with botanical artist Hamish Powell to create a site-specific floral installation inspired by chrysanthemums, symbolising remembrance and renewal. The exhibition was a multi-sensory experience, featuring artworks throughout the hotel and a curated tea and cocktail menu influenced by her Hong Kong heritage—each detail crafted to evoke memory, emotion, and place.

At its heart, the brand is an evolving dialogue between memory and movement, where the fluid language of dance intersects with the visual cadence of fine art—fashion as a vessel of story and sensation.
