THE STORY
It begins with a chrysanthemum.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Katie’s favourite drink was chrysanthemum tea. After years of studying Western artists in her teenage years, the impressionist period in particular, she found her way back to it after studying fashion design in London. Chrysanthemum Dew, her S/S 2025 collection, began as pages of chrysanthemum studies as graphic drawings and gouache paintings, each one translated into texture and movement in couture.
Until now, those drawings have never left the studio. The print club sends one to you each month, printed as fine art, with the story of the garment it became.
